چکیده

Abstract Background Freezing injury, which is an important abiotic stress in horticultural crops, influences the growth and development production area of kiwifruit ( Actinidia Lind1). Among species, arguta has excellent cold resistance, but knowledge relevant to molecular mechanisms still limited. Understanding mechanism underlying resistance for breeding resistance. Results In our study, a population resulting from cross A. ‘Ruby-3’ × ‘Kuilv’ male was generated hardiness 20 cold-tolerant cold-sensitive populations were selected 492 according their LT50. Then, we performed bulked segregant RNA-seq combined with single-molecule real-time sequencing identify differentially expressed genes that provide hardiness. We found content soluble sucrose activity β-amylase higher than population. Upon − 30 °C low-temperature treatment, 126 identify; expression 59 up-regulated 67 down-regulated between tolerant sensitive pools, respectively. KEGG pathway analysis showed DEGs primarily related starch metabolism, amino sugar nucleotide metabolism. Ten major key enzyme-encoding two regulatory pool, CBF be expressed. particular, 14–3-3 gene EBF . To validate BSR-Seq results, 24 assessed via qRT-PCR, results consistent those obtained by BSR-Seq. Conclusion Our research provides valuable insights into identified potential are kiwifruit.

Newer Insights into the Prsevention of the Common Cold

Since most colds are self-limiting, symptoms will usually resolve on their own in seven to ten days. For the majority of patients, treatment is symptomatic and targeted at the most bothersome symptoms. Specific nonprescription therapy may relieve cold symptoms but should be used with caution, especially in at-risk patient populations. Patients should monitor for worsening symptoms, and progress...

Quantitative Proteomic Analysis Provides Novel Insights into Cold Stress Responses in Petunia Seedlings

Low temperature is a major adverse environmental factor that impairs petunia growth and development. To better understand the molecular mechanisms of cold stress adaptation of petunia plants, a quantitative proteomic analysis using iTRAQ technology was performed to detect the effects of cold stress on protein expression profiles in petunia seedlings which had been subjected to 2°C for 5 days. O...

Evaluation of Antioxidant and Antiproliferative Properties of Three Actinidia (Actinidia kolomikta, Actinidia arguta, Actinidia chinensis) Extracts in Vitro

The total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, vitamin C content, and antioxidant activities of ethanol extracts from different kiwifruit varieties (Actinidia kolomikta, Actinidia arguta, Actinidia chinensis) were determined in this study. Multiple scavenging activity assays including the hydroxyl radical, O(2) (-)·radical, DPPH, and the ABTS(+) radical scavenging activity assays were use...

Genome-Wide Analysis of Gene Expression Provides New Insights into Cold Responses in Thellungiella salsuginea

Low temperature is one of the major environmental stresses that affects plant growth and development, and leads to decrease in crop yield and quality. Thellungiella salsuginea (salt cress) exhibits high tolerance to chilling, is an appropriate model to investigate the molecular mechanisms of cold tolerance. Here, we compared transcription changes in the roots and leaves of T. salsuginea under c...
